Living in Kansas City most of my life and an avid history lover, one would think I’ve been to the Jesse James farm in Kearney Missouri. I’d always hoped to and just never did. I finally went a couple weeks ago and I was ashamed that I waited so long. The museum and the house behind it was full of great information and little known facts about Jesse and the history of Kansas City. The $6 fee covers your tour of the museum, a movie for background info and the tour of the house and was well worth it. Our tour consisted of people from New York and Gettysburg and our guide was amazing! The surrounding farm is beautiful and the original grave of Jesse is still there to be seen. (He was removed and is now located in Mount Olivet in Kearney) Let’s not forget our history! Come out and support our sites and see this marvelous museum.
